Thanks so much for the comment...it's just nice to be home again...for a bit. I am going to Alaska in early May, but will not have much "skate time", so I will use it to prep for a photo-expo trip in a few years. Need to get a few more projects done...
That PIF shot looks very cool from here...nice "lock-on"
I just got a reply back from 15Bit; he is feeling well after the surgery, which is aways a great thing.

It is cherry blossom peak in the nation's capital.
Very pretty. However, the nation's capital doesn't get any cherry blossom for another month at least. Besides, I do not recognize that building......must be some new construction in Ottawa.

That poor feller looks very sad and dejected, Robert, as if he is comntemplating the huge sum of money spent on the new Calgary's penguinarium.
He is on the waiting list for a 5D MKIII and was told he is not in the first batch.
He just stands basically in one spot, very litlle movement ie walking, no swimming, no eating (he ate a lot of food recently). He will not eat again for about 30 days and just live off the stored fat. It is molting time where he loses his feathers and gets new ones, when that is finished he will start eating, swimming and running around.

Very nice Bouquet of Flower shots Kathy. Thanks for sharing with the rest of us. Look forward to seeing more of your shots in the future.
Thanks, everyone here is so very good, i find it intimidating, but I love taking flower shots.
No need to be intimidated, follow your passion, enjoy it. You will find each person including yourself develop their own unique styles, we all learn from one another. You may be surprised that when others look at your shots they ponder on how did you take that shot, why did you choose that lens, camera or angle. Pardon the pun but it is how we grow and bloom as photographers by sharing our shots.
@ Peter: am glad to hear that you guys are open for cats.;-)
@ Adrian: get your point. Good luck! :-)
@ burning heart: like your comment!
@ Kathy: beautiful composition! :-)

Outstanding shot "This field of tree eyes" it reminds me of a little child peaking around the corner, thinking you cant see me.
Thank you!
Well done, Jess....it seems that your 300 likes the 2xTC.
Tree sharks have that borderline insane-retarded look about them sometimes which is fun to catch in a picture.
Thanks Photon, Petkal, Yvonne82 and burningheart for the kind words. I have really enjoyed all the photos posted on here as well. Petkal I am always amazed at your birds in flight.. My self assigned project for the summer is to practice, practice, practice this. I have been considering picking up a 1DIIN, I had a 1DII for a while and many of my favorite pics were shot with it. I have regretted letting it go.
