Nice shots everyone. No spring here yet, just rain and sleet. On the plus side it looks like i might be up and properly mobile once spring does come, as they've offered me surgery on my bad back tomorrow. I guess i'll also be "doing an Edd" and dropping offline for a few days. Hopefully i'll be back later in the week. Happy shooting all.

Indeed, John, extreme uncool can become true art, although there is a saying that one can never be too cool, yet anything excessive may become comical too.
John, well, I can imagine what you wanted to say, but my school-English is long time ago.:-D So thank you, Peter, for the summary! ;-) Hm, you bring me into conflicts of conscience. It would have been easier for me to post Ralph“s pics if you would not have told me to ask for Ralph“s opinion. Then I could have blamed you “cause my Mummy told me to hear on what elder people say...:-D
@sritri: a wooden ghost - cute!
Jefferson, Ralph and John.....thank you, glad you like the shot. Because the lens was only moderately long (i.e., 200mm) I had to crop enlarge a fair bit.....about 66%.
John, if I didn't know better I'd think that your image shows a thickly forested island in the sea of clouds.
Well it is floating in the morning mist over a thin coat of snow from the night. This shot was early morning as the sun crept in under the clouds and five minutes later all disappeared behind a curtain of grey. Yesterday the island was floating on a green pasture. If the grey should ever part again and the sea of green reappears, I'll try to get a shot for you.

Yvonne. please feel free to post those pictures, as long as Ralph doesn't mind.
I do mind!
They are already deleted.
Yvonne should go on posting her own pics. They are great! She did a couple of very beautiful BIW pics (Birds in WALK).
