Wilhelm - Wow, the first and third shots are amazing not that #2 is not good either, yes I really like the composition on that one. Just drawn to that gorgeous color and spatial rendition of the first one like a bug drawn to a lamp.
Very interesting pictures on this and the last page:
Carsten: I share your liking of your image and I'm too not sure, why exactly. Maybe the deep colors or the lovely bokeh fit the subject very well.
Luka: the forest picture on the last page has a beautiful rendering, I like it a lot. Also the mood in the first picture on this page.
Bob: Fantastic last image - it's like the buildings communicate to each other.
Carsten, Wilhelm, Ulff, Wayne, Philippe - thank you so much
Carsten, I looked up the Paul Strand's wall street shot. I am sort of shocked that I did not know anything about this photo or the photographer, and the similarity of the feeling the area still gives almost 100 years after.
Wilhelm - Yes, I agree about the sculpture. I tried several different version. Somehow, when the sculpture is more lit, it loses the power, I felt. In the end I went with the dark 'death star' feeling. It is worth studying more. Thanks for the comment.
Wayne - 2/ 25 is very sweet for self illuminating subject, it seems. Your bar shot also showed off the strength very clearly. I like how this shot captured the atmosphere of dusk. I get the feelling I was right there.
Carsten - That is a gorgeous shot I must say. Especially the upper part where the light through the window is softly illuminating the back wall, pips, then popping the graffiti out. It is a very 'yummy' rendering.
Carsten, Wayne - both beautiful images.
Wayne- that 25 sings in that image.
Carsten, great mood (note to self, take the 50 for a spin more often)
Luka - that first one really stand out to me.
Carsten - Another brilliant shot. There is something about the picture what makes me feel like it is under water. Surreal, as Joakim mentioned. From some reason, it also reminded me of a video game 'portal'. Strange. I like it a lot. That is what I mean.
