been browsing the thread. some inspirational shots which really show of the zeiss quality
i've noticed a couple of mentions of using cy lenses on nikon dslrs. have yet to find an adapter which would allow me to do that. can anyone point me in the right direction or offer some advice? thanks a lot!
and buy a replacement mount.
There are no adapters because Nikon has a to long registry distance, and you would not be able to focus to infinity.
Watch out that you get an MM lens (automatic) versus AE (earlier model) which you can recognise by the green f16 aperture (or the smallest anyway). The other ones don't work with the mount.

What cyra said, plus, not all lenses work. Check out the Leitax site first.
What cyra said, and Carsten said + if you don't have the right tools, you might want to also get the tools from Leitax as well. Oh, and Leitax now sells with CPU glued to it. Watch out that some lens may not be able to fit the chip. MM CY28 I converted, has large 'fin' on the back barrel, which got in the way to clear the chip, so I had to remove it.
Thanks cyra, carstenw and akul exactly the info I was looking for. Came across leitax the other day and seems like the best/only solution. great depth and dynamic range on those photos akul.
