Thanks a lot Carsten.

Here's a last one G28, no PP except for default ACR. 100% crops below. Darn sharp lens. You made me buy it Carsten :-)

Fefo - sorry about typo !!

Robert, Wilhelm, Uzay - Thank you !

Wilhelm - Very crisp. Second shots is just great. I keep staring at the detail. G28 looks very good on 5N too.

It has been a while to put CY28 on D700 ( I tend to use it on NEX ).

carsten, jfinite - thank you

Carsten - I am enjoying your approach to plant photos. I like your choice of composition. Bud in focus, flower in bokeh. Beautiful boke.

It's at Kvarnholmen, what you see on the other side is Djurgården.

Aha, thanks. The topmost shot on this page (the doors) is BTW also from that island - but on the way to the docks on the other side.

Somehow this shot is not special, but I still really like it for some reason. 100MP@f/5.6:

Like that shot Akul -would love to try that or the CY version compared to the Samyang that I have.

Here's a cross post of some of the Contax G21 shots posted in the NEX thread.

@Wilhelm: Nice colors in your shots and I like the composition of the second one, but I think there you're producing quite obvious haloes around the cranes, buildings, chimney, etc. with your PP, which gives an impression of artificiality. It looks like you're just using the adjustment brush in Lightroom to boost exposure of those parts, or something like that.

Thanks Aham. I aim to equalize light a bit to more replicate what I think I saw compared to what the sensor got. So there is some skywork involved here but I tried to use schemes applied only applied to the level of luminosity (ie in theory should not enhance contrasty areas - and certainly not produce halos) - but I see what you mean. Here I was kind of focused on not giving too much over-sharpened feel to the images - given the staggering amount of details the G21 produces. But now that you mentioned it I see some of what you refer to, appreciate the critique. I'll work on that.
