The Sigma AF APO 170-500mm f/5.0-6.3 $385
This is the Sony / Minolta mount. It's in great shape. There might be a dust spec or two but overall very clean! Certainly nothing that affects images! I believe this model is aspherical as well! I bought it in a heartbeat for the same price as above in exactly the same condition. No scratches that I can see anywhere. The AF on this lens is a tad slow as it's two versions back and only the newe$t version has USM. I tested it on the Sony A900 and it could track anything within reason. Running dogs, small birds, etc. I guess if there's a hawk flying directly toward you from 15m away it will miss the focus in the 2 seconds it takes for the bird to fly from there to directly over your head. But when it only needs to make small-ish adjustments for things further away it's plenty fast enough. It would be very fine to track a football player or a race car from the bleachers with.
Includes both caps, hood, and semi-hard case (all original). See Images below.
I accept Pay-pal or Bank Transfer - you pay fees. (By reading I guess there's a "gift" option? I dunno anything about it but if that's available and reduces your fees I'm game. I think PayPal is like only 3% tho?)

Shipping to you (almost anywhere in the world) takes less than 7 days (usually 4 to 5). Unless Home Land Security decides to monkey with it. Then just as it is for local mail, who knows, but the mail carriers say that when that happens it never adds more than 2 days to the estimate. I've sold about 15 or so lenses to abroad and never a hitch yet. <knock on wood>
This lens is REALLY GOOD. I have one. If you dont mind shooting at a large F stop, then this is a really good lens. Mine is for Canon, but its going to be the same on Sony.
500mm isnt that bad, either. You can trust beeber. Hes 14!
Yeah, It's actually quite good wide open too (or is that that what you meant seeing how WO is f/6.3?). IMHO, this model represents the best 500mm zoom one can buy for $450 ~ $500 which is what this lens often sells for in the same condition as above.
The $25 Sony-Alpha/Minolta adaptor allows aperture control on my GH1 and other M4/3 cameras too, so this guy is like an APO 240~1000mm f/5.0-6.3 when mounted on M4/3. Simply amazing resolution at that reach! I was impressed.
