This lens has given me many great pictures in the past and is incredible for a starter lens, much sharper then all the other consumer lens's ever released, including the 24-85 and the 28-135, look at the results here

I am looking to sell it for $50.00 shipped because the switch to change it from manual focus to auto focus is broke. You can change it with a pen from one to the other but I usually just keep it in autofocus. Other then that it is in great condition. I am saving funds to purchase either the 28-70 or 24-70 2.8 L lens. $65.00 will get the lens and a quantaray polarizer to fit the lens.
Thanks

A friendly bump for inca,

the 28-70 3.5-4.5 Mk II is optically very good, contrasty and sharp. It gives a very nice 3D-effect to the pictures, which today's consumer lenses (24-85, 28-105, etc) cannot deliver without post-processing. For someone on a budget (and who is not drawn into the L fever), this is really a good lens to get

Hi,
I second to Nutek's opinion. I'm using it now and it's wonderful. It's tack sharp, better than most third party lens and it's cheap!
