wembley Offline Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #1 · Sold: nikon 300mm afs f4 I am selling this to purchase an 80-200 afs. Since getting a 400 afs II 14 mths ago I have not shot the 300 much. before the 400 the 300 and 1.4tc were always attached to my camera. Very Fast AF and great quality. Lens is beautifully clean. No scratches or marks on the glass. There are some very light scratches under the built in lens shade from the shade rotating to open (see last image) comes with box, the bag (unused) nikon collar and lens caps. Here are a couple of SOOC full size images from the lens shot this afternoon. Shots at f4 and stopped down too. todays pics today last gallery from the 300 bucs v jets shots of lens 300 afs f4 I am selling for $1050 + actual shipping incl insurance. Paypal accepted (verified address only) but 3% fees paid by buyer or use gift to save the fees. I guess it is easier to say $1050 net to me. I have 100% feedback at ebay (wembley-stadium) and have recently sold my D2h and D2Hs here. When i do a search of the FM buy and sell i only find 2 that sold 3 weeks ago, and then 6 weeks ago and before that 2 months ago (all BTW for more than this). only one here for 3 weeks. By FM standards this lens is not that common (compare to something like the 70-200's) How long did it take you to find yours? Tthere were three here, but they were asking more than a better authority suggested I should pay. I also had a bead on a refurbished one with Adorama and a used one from them - with a warranty and had just missed two in the NikonCafe. Also, what I found was that some people selling them here didn't really advertise very well - so sometimes it was a heading like "Nikon lenses yada yada yada" And since I got mine a couple weeks ago, I've noticed a couple of others pop up. The 70-200 is very popular right now because some are selling the VRI to get the VRII. The AF-S 300mm f/4 is a great lens - I won't hand hold it most of the time, but from the tripod shooting I've done with it, it's a very solid performer. "Hard to find" is a 400mm f/2.8 VR. Adorama has 3 listed new at 1494 (1 of the amazon listings is adorama) Keh has 4 used starting at $1260 So the total used 300mm afs f4 lens I have found is:7 (4 at keh, 2 at amazon and 1 here).
