Lens Sale; I am trying to thin out my camera bag!
Canon EF 17-40 f4 L USM;
its an L lens and is quite sharp. Includes all original Canon lens caps, hood (EW83E), box and lens bag. The lens is in perfect shape, no marks and the front and rear glass are perfect.
In addition an 83EWDII lens hood is included along with a Tamron 77mm lens cap. If you use this lens on a 1.3 or 1.6 crop body, you will like that this alternate hood (sold for the 24 f1.4 lens) is substantially smaller in diameter and actually fits in your camera bag, whereas the original lens hood is quite large in diameter and doesn't fit. However due to the tighter spacing of this alternate lens cap and lens hood, even a person with smaller fingers will have a hard time taking the Canon lens cap on/off. The Tamron lens cap has a center squeeze and circumvents this problem. The hood and extra lens cap are worth $49.
For 17-40 and all accessories, $600 plus shipping, continental US only

Canon EF 50mm usm f1.4
Front and rear lens caps plus Hoya 58 mm circular polarizer filter and Tiffen 58 mm UV filter. One of these filters has always stayed on the lens, which works fine and looks perfect. The filters are a $50 value.
Lens and filters $300 plus shipping, continental US only.

Zuiko 24 mm f3.5 shift lens
This lens and its virtues were described a few years ago by hubsand (Mark of 16:9) in the alternate gear and lenses forum here on FM. Its large, protruding lens is securely covered by the metal lens hood. It shifts in both horizontal and vertical directions at the same time. Shift and focusing action are smooth.
I include a non-descript adapter for a Canon mount. Price is $850, continental US only. Ebay has this lens at ~$2500!
