I'm selling off my 1.6x gear. I originally put together this little kit for times when i wanted a small, cheap bag to carry with me. But when i found myself needing or wanting to carry a bag, I would just take my 5D anyway. I also had it for my wife to use as a better quality option than a point and shoot. But she has given up on using a DSLR instead of a P&S. So none of this stuff gets used.

- bought: used, dgrin, nov 2007
- selling because: i orginally picked this up for those times when i didn't want to lug the 5D around. well, it just doesn't see use anymore. lately i just carry the 5D if i think i'll want to take some pictures. it also used to be used by my wife, who as i mentioned above has now decided that DSLRs are 'too hard to use'.
- condition: so-so. completely functional, but numerous small blemishes. i never used the kit lens, but the zoom sticks a little. can't speak for its optical quality, so i priced this pretty aggressively for a kit.
- includes: camera, battery/charger, kit lens w/ caps, strap (from an XTi, i believe), video cable, manual and software (i think - its not a canon software CD, it is ArcSoft, so i'm not sure about that...). i did not recieve this with a USB cable or body cap. box is there (sans UPC), but not all of the packaging material, so i will stuff this with either peanuts or bubble wrap. just to stress, again, this was used, and not typical of my stuff. I'll also throw in a 1GB plain-jane sandisk CF card here. I have an older case logic carrying case for the camera with kit lens mounted that i will ship in place of the box (i'll still include everything else of course) for an extra 5 bucks.

The Usual
- i do my best to answer questions ahead of time with this verbose of a listing. but if i missed something, dont hesitate to ask.
- images of, or samples from, any item are available at request and will be added to this ad as requested.
- all prices are 'pretty firm' (i.e., reasonable offers will be considered, and lowballers ignored)
- prices, unless otherwise noted in the description, are all "to your door" - i.e., they include paypal fees and insured shipping.
- i strongly prefer paypal (i will accept other payments, but won't ship until payment clears)
- i will NOT ship internationally. sorry, but i have had far too many issues with international shipping lately.
- i am located in erie, PA. in the unlikely event that you are local, prices will be adjusted to reflect no paypal/shipping costs
- prices will also be adjusted for multiple purchases, to reflect my savings on shipping (and on aggravation)
- be prepared to show some sort of reference, in the form of feedback on this site or others. if you don't, i will probabbly ask for it.
- i try to honor 'first come, first served'. but if the next person in line is ready to go while you're still debating 24 hours later, then it's thiers.

- i am anal retentive about everything i own, and this carries over to my camera gear.
- i am very honest and direct when it comes to disclosing condition of anything i sell.
- i save *everything* when i buy a camera or lens. i do not even open software. when i say "includes everything as new", i mean it. even the twist ties
- i do not smoke, nor does anyone in my family.
- i communicate as promptly as possible, and make sure you are notified of shipping and tracking info
- i pack very well; as securely as any retailer (and arguably better than some)
- i have plenty of feedback; on dgrin (monky), FM (monky) and ebay (monky9000)
Gaurantee
- if, after receiving the item, you feel it is not as described in any way, you can send it back to me for a refund (less shipping).
- you have 3 days to let me know that it does not meet your expectations.
- i will refund your money on receipt of the item back from you, AND if everything (packaging included) is returned in the same condition it was when it left me.
- sorry, but things like "it is not sharp enough viewed at 1600% shot wide open" (are you listening, pixel peepers?) or "i think maybe i changed my mind" do not qualify here.
