If you go with a 28-105, make sure it's an f/3.5-4.5 USM version and not the lower-quality f/4-5.6 non-USM version. The f/3.5-4.5 USM is a nice, small, lightweight lens and is fairly inexpensive. I just sold mine today solely because I got the 28-135 IS with my 7D. Not much different in IQ, but I don't mind having the IS and the extra 20 mm.
I also have the 24-70L which stays on my 5D2 most of the time. It is a great lens for full frame, although there are times when I would prefer the 24-105L IS instead. Shooting events, sometimes 70 mm isn't quite long enough.
