$625 shipped and paypal'd for the 40D. I have seen several go for 650 and 675 over the last couple of days. Other than the small rub on the bottom edge, this body is in perfect condition and low mileage. It works perfectly!
Looking at other prices on the board, $1425 shipped and paypal'd seems like a good price to me. These are $1899 new! That is a $474 discount from new. Also, the "marks" on the distance scale are just a finger print. The scale window looks like new. The only marks on the lens are on the hood and the bottom of the tripod ring as shown.
Well, my buyer made the mistake of asking his wife after he committed to buy. (And then she said no.)
