I recently purchased a Pentax K to EOS AF Confirm adapter so I can mount a Pentax-A 70-210 F/4 and Pentax-A 50mm F/1.7 to my Canon 5D. They say a little bit of lens needs to be shaved in order to clear the mirror. I am assuming they mean the little metal lever that sticks out the mount side of the lens?
Can anyone confirm this for me and maybe even point me to some instructions on how and how much to remove?
Thank you,
- Shawn
P.S. I did a search here but couldn't find anything specific.
Operation is simple. Set the camera to AV, then use the aperture ring on the lens to set your aperture. The camera will meter normally. Also, you get the focus confirmation blinkie and beep.
I also have a Pentax-A 70-210mm F/4 that I will buy an adapter for.
