Kind of elusive subject on this image for me Tim. I do like the two roads, and a turning area effect, but the glass or whatever it is could be tweaked to add to the locale a bit.
Thanks, guys. Yeah, I think Eric's suggestion of a larger post would help with your issues on this too, Tim. It's actually a frozen puddle that has been smashed. Looks a lot better in larger format.

Ohhhhh it was a smashed puddle? I seriously thought that someone had put a bunch of glass in the middle of the forest, silly me . But let's see that bigger version Tim!
Sorry Tim, as one of your "cyber-buddies" on FM, I would have to say you have to put this one in storage. The idea of the shot was excellent, but the execution didn't seem to go as planned. I would have preferred a shot in which I could see the individual jaggiez of the broken pond that looked like glass. However in this far-away shot I can't see much, and without the title I would be very lost in what was going on in this image.
Thank you Tim, Alan, and Morg. It looked so cool in person, but I just couldn't get it to translate onto the camera! I think I'll go back and try some new approaches, including getting closer.
You're right, Morgan, those are pines. This is in Riverside State Park in Spokane, Washington. Pines galore!
