Yes, you can say it's froth. The shadow however, was there... the only other way to avoid that would be to wait for a better time of day.... being that I was on vacation... that was my ONLY opportunity unfortunately. The right rock is much too bright when the light source is coming from behind it. I love the color and texture, but even the shadow on the right side is getting brighter as it nears the rock face (kind of backwards). I tried to do it as subtly as possible, so I went with very agressive smoothing of colors and tones, so that it still looks like the real thing. Here's the original so you can compare....... I'm sure you can see why I went through the trouble of doing hdr processing.... Here's the hdr again....... but I will definitely need to work on that highlighted spot on the top-right....
