Mamiya-Sekor C 45mm f2.8 N with Canon Mount shift adaptor.

got this from another photographer as a way to play around with shifting.

Lens is in overall good condition - glass is clean. barrel shows paint wear (see pics). focus is smooth and aperture ring is snaps accurately.

not exactly sure the manuf. of the shift adaptor (maybe someone here knows). the adaptor rotates and shifts.

did a few test shots, and lens is sharp wide open.

Price: $265 shipped in the US.

Any sample pictures you can share that were taken with this lens?

sorry guys.. i went out to take some test shots at infinity at noticed that the lens was too 'soft', so i returned the lens where it was purchased.

at close range it was very sharp, but i didnt realize that the lens at infinity was soft.. and i dont think the buyer would like that...

thanks!!

I think we have our answer as to why no images.

Good on ya Erik! It makes sense to check lenses thoroughly upon receipt because odd things can happen. I got a lens a while back with essentially the same problem and am glad I noticed it within the allowed return time frame.

Thanks for having the integrity to deal with it.

Cheers!/ScottGee1

A shame to run into that, but kudos for checking.
