p.1 #1 · FS: Sold: Canon 500D Close-up Lens, 77,67,62mm Cir Polarizers | |
1. Canon 77mm Close-up Lens 500D. This is very popular with any brand of lens which takes 77mm filters, or any other lens with step-up ring which I also used. This is the best close-up lens you can buy and it is in Like New condition. The only thing I need to point out that the bottom part of the plastic case has a crack in it as it is visible on both pictures but more so on the second close-up picture. This is the way it came from B&H when I purchased it and to me it was not big enough deal to go through the hassle to send it back for a replacement since it does not affect the functionality.
SOLD Price: $125 Paypalled and shipped USPS with delivery confirmation.
2. Hoya Super Quality PRO-1 77mm Super HMC Circular Polarizing Filter. This is the predecessor of the PRO-1 DMC (Digital Multicoat) filter. This filter was more expensive than the new DMC version and has 7 layers of multicoating on the rear surface of the filter. It is in immaculate shape in the original box.
Take a look at this site for the 77mm PRO-1 Digital (DMC):

And here to compare to the 77mm PRO-1 Super HMC. Sroll down to look at the graph for the coating differences:

SOLD Price: $110 Paypalled and shipped USPS with delivery confirmation.
3. Hoya Super Quality 67mm Super HMC Circular Polarizing Filter. This is the same filter as the PRO-1 and has the same 7 layers of Super HMC multicoating on the rear surface of the filter but does not have a front thread. Comes with the black plastic protective cover. Like new in original box.
SOLD Price: $50 Paypalled and shipped USPS with delivery confirmation.
4. B+W 77mm Kaeseman Circular Polarizer Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC). This is the best of the best, constructed from select polarizer foils and especially prepared optical glass. Kaeseman ("encased") filters are completely edge-sealed for maximum durability under extreme climatic conditions. This is not the thin version but the new regular which is thinner than it was before and does not vignette with wide angle lenses and it also has a front thread. I tried it on the D300 and Nikkor 12-24 DX lens and it does not have the slightest vignetting with this lens at 12mm. I also tried it with the 24-70 on the D3 and it is also perfect at 24mm. Like new in the original box.
SOLD Price: $140 Paypalled and shipped USPS with delivery confirmation.
5. Heliopan 62mm Circular Polarizer Slim Filter LNIB. This filter does not have a front thread. It sells for $97+shipping at B&H. Here is the link:
