I recently purchased this lens from a member on FM, but decided that I shouldn't have sold my Tamron 28-75 because it is much lighter for me to use as my primary lens. Don't get me wrong, I really like this 24-70mm, but after adding a grip to my 40D I can stand to lighten the load.
I have since obtained another Tamron, so I am offering this one up for sale. The body is in very good shape, and the glass is clean & flawless. The body does show light wear where the hood attaches, but there is no paint loss and none of that whiteness that often occurs around the rubber zoom and focus rings. The front lens cap does show wear and some paint loss, but obviously doesn't affect the operation of the lens. The hood also shows the typical wear. Lens date code is: UR0201.
