Congratulations Jan Arie! Glad to hear that your Mom is comfortable in her new place, I'm sure that makes you feel good.

Yes I'm very happy about that she is now near the shops so she can walk and the building is equipped with elevators.

This is her new view

Evening all the move to the new house is successful.
All systems 100% and running.

I bought my moms house, she moved this week to her new apartment and she is very happy no more stairs to climb...

For now the computer is downstairs until the rest of the house is fixed up to standard
Have a nice weekend all...

Wonderful news J-A. Don’t worry about the computer being down stairs – I have it on good authority that the computers don’t care!

Is there such a thing as a "Noah Syndrome"? Well………. There is now!

Might I enquire when the little place in the country will transition to being a zoological garden? Or has that ship sailed?

Good Morning Nick! I wouldn't even hazard a guess...................... I'm surprised that a couple of Texas Longhorns haven't shown up yet, every Texas ranch needs Longhorns.

Jim, some have found their way to Maryland!
My neighbor down the road has about 10 Texas longhorns he just bought! What a sight for a state that is some dairy and beef.

My wife's quilting friend down the road a piece has a small heard of longhorn cattle. She is our age and goes out in the heat, snow and nice weather, every day to feed, water, check on them and help with the birth when needed. She lives by herself and spends a lot of time with them. When I asked her why she raises longhorns she told me they are her "yard art".😀

That's cute Ray. That is my daughter Jennifer. The kids are going back to school in a week or so (to try to make up for the year that wasn't), I can't imagine how Jennifer is going to tend her flocks with the girls in class. We are strongly in favor of them going back, unmasked, aside from the educational setback, the social ramifications have been hard on them as well. Let's just do this and get the Texas "herd" immune.

There is a solution to our climbing infection rate...get vaccinated. I held out for a couple of months because I do have reactions to vaccines since all the crap the USAF shot into me the first 3 weeks of basic training. After I saw how many folks were fully vaccinated with no side effects, I got mine. I just wish we could get the littles (<12) vaccinated and get on with it, however the younger set don't seem to be bothered by COVID. I think the gov is keeping the state open so the unvaccinated will get the shots. I, being vaccinated, am not worried about COVID. I have one grandson <12 who can't get the shot and I wish he could.

Your daughter is going to very busy this fall without her 'skilled' labor crew!😀

You are right Ray, but we have another problem and that is what is going on at our southern border. Airports around Texas, San Antonio in particular, are reporting bus loads of illegals just being dropped at the airport daily. They are being told to go anywhere they want to, no one speaks English and nobody has any ID obviously. San Antonio airport management says the airport is out of control, they are having sex in the bathrooms and going to the bathroom on the floor and in the hallways. A buddy of mine who flies for AA says he just flew 20+ from DFW to Springfield Illinois, no one spoke english, no ID, just government travel vouchers. They got off the plane in Illinois with no one to meet them and no where to go. This is happening all over the country. San Antonio and Illinois voted for this, wonder how they like it now?

I'd like to think that you are right Ray, and that there would be a reckoning, but, based on what we've witnessed over the last few years, I don't hold out much hope. America is just becoming a larger Portland. Both parties just slither around the swamp and sell us out on a daily basis. We're told that our kids can't go back to school and we should be double masking, yet the people imposing this stuff on us throw lavish parties with hundreds of people in attendance, travel on the airlines without masks, basically do whatever they want. We are "Animal Farm".
