You guys got me fired up with those Blue Angel picks. Guess I'm getting older as these guys look younger and younger to me every year.

Rusty - that's why they don't wear g-suits - they can't make them small enough.

I am excited about the P'cola show and am looking forward to meeting more of you guys there. Have been busy as of late, but saw this last night as I left work.

His creativity and artistry knows no bounds!

Thanks Glenn.. Yes that is the Blues diamond with their speed brakes raised... I did not know I caught them in the frame till I looked at it later on the computer...

Hi Tim:

What a cool website. I just spent a few hours on it. The videos of starting the restored engines are awesome. Makes my paltry 400ci Pontiac seem like a joke.

It's a shame that it looks like Jim is going to miss the thread hitting 15 kiloposts...just 17 away now.

Somebody get a great Mustang shot ready!

Thanks, it is not often you get to talk to people who were deep inside the Skunk Works.

Wow, 15K posts and we're on the 600th page.

Here are a couple BA crossings I shot in RI in June. I use JBear's approach with both eyes open, but with my 40D ( 6fps) I have better luck trying to time a single shot than with a burst:

I like this one. Someone once asked me how I managed to get an A2A opportunity with the Blues. But just a well-placed cloud bank:

I am constantly amazed and stupefied with wonder at Dolfo's shots... someday, I have got to follow him around for a couple of days at those exercises (assuming it doesn't require some sort of clearance).

14 short of the 15-kilopost mark (13 now), and y'all have got me (a) ignoring work and (b) hunting frantically for a decent Blues shot. Here's one I could sort of salvage, from the Goodyear airshow 3 years ago with the D70s and 55-200 lens.

The long canopy says Mitsubishi Zero to me, but I'm just barely learning to recognize these types properly. Is that ID correct?
