From a color study I did years ago. Using flowers in a vase, natural light from a window and different color paper for my background. To see more results of this color study, look here
Every once in a while things just all come together, 50' off the tree tops at 100knots in velvet smooth summer evening air. We got away with shooting at 1/30th to get the motion that really makes the shot.
Step away for a couple of days...and bang! a whole crop of great new images!
Love it!
I haven't picked up the camera in a month at least...
Although I've been working at the JOB, the lack of places to go and things to do have left evenings and weekends open...so....I've been steady working on a project that i have envisioned for many years.
Getting rid of some unneeded junk and turning that back yard storage shed into a workable space!
The new workshop/reloading room/mancave is coming together nicely....nothing fancy, just a permanent place to work at some fun stuff!

Nice shop you have coming along. Mine has been in the works for some 6 years now! First came the cabinets and counter tops for the reloading and milling area; first picture. Add a nice little South Bend 9" machine lathe in the second photo. By Maybe 4 years ago I built the 4' X 8' assembly table with integral storage (which I am still outfitting!). And in the garage we keep all the saws and dusty stuff, with tip down from the wall work tables that also function as infeed/outfeed tables for the saw. In the garage we also have joiner/planer, bandsaw so I can pretty much deal with any thing from rough saw lumber to any store bought and even re-sawing as necessary. Been a fun journey building capability and projects the last 6 years.
Never is it clean or un-cluttered since we always have a project or 4 or 5 going on. But work/organization continues in the shop both up in the garage and basement. Of course the shop work is paced by "Honey Do" projects like the understairs storage shared a couple months back but that is fair.
