This is brand new never used(only mounted once to test) with rare nikon hs/hn 23 metal hood. Im asking $2500 i have sold another 28mm f1.4d to a fellow member months back in this board. Didn't keep his words,(not returning my PMs or emails after that) not neccesarily how an honest FMer around here would do. I don't see anything dishonest about it either. I've sold tons of items on here and I always get requests to lower my asking price. if someone comes along willing to pay at your original asking price I don't see whats dishonest about that. And while we were arranging payment and shipping methods, he got another offer from someone else for higher so he bailed. This happened after we already had an agreement. Are you saying you would do (or done)the same? Maybe dishonest isn't exactly the word but perhaps "integrity" is. Well, take it however one wants to, but I thought I just let other FMers here aware of what happened. Dan, that is untrue. i have answered all your emails and pms. in fact it was you who never replied to my emails AFTER i asked you permission to sell it to another member. i do apologize for the unfortunate event that transpired here in such a decent place like fm but i explained to you my reasons for selling my lenses and my circumstances. at no point did i guarantee to sell you the lens while the listing was active. if you can dig up the threads it will say asking for Obo. I repeatedly mentioned many times that IF there are no other offers. YES we were talking and coming close to agreeing on a price but i have received other offers while we were talking. if we were talking a small margin i would have still sold it to you and bit the bullet. We were discussing $1600, someone offered me $2400. I emailed you to inform you of my latest offer and asked for your permissiond thats when your tone started to change. i dont blame you though but dont make this look like i totally went back on a 100% agreement coz thats not what happened. whatever the case, the buyer received his item better than advertised.
