The shots all look great with fine detail and excellent exposure. Sometimes,
when the light seems great and it is right behind and you are shooting a white
bird, the "good" light can actually be a problem. Since you want to make sure that you don't overexpose the white bird, the sky, in effect, becomes underexposed, and there isn't much you can do about that while you are taking the picture. However, in PS, you can select the sky with the magic wand tool and then you can use the Hue/Saturation to lighten the sky a bit.
On some pictures it works better than others. I tried it with one of your pictures.
See if you like it better.
Nevertheless, your pictures are great.
