I took using RAW, once converted to JPG, the blue color looks 'broken'.
I didn't save as Jpeg but just Save As and select JPG + sRGB. I need your advice.
Greg,
The shots all look great with fine detail and excellent exposure. Sometimes,
when the light seems great and it is right behind and you are shooting a white
bird, the "good" light can actually be a problem. Since you want to make sure that you don't overexpose the white bird, the sky, in effect, becomes underexposed, and there isn't much you can do about that while you are taking the picture. However, in PS, you can select the sky with the magic wand tool and then you can use the Hue/Saturation to lighten the sky a bit.
On some pictures it works better than others. I tried it with one of your pictures.
See if you like it better.
Nevertheless, your pictures are great.
If you don't want my version here, let me know and I'll delete it.

Wow, All of these shots were excellently sharp, stunting and high contrast.Good control of exposure which was very difficult for shooting white subject in a large darker sky background like these one .What light meter mode you have used and did you do any compensate adjusting? Very good capture.
Les, did give you the best solution and nice tip to neatly deal with some of the different contrast issues and it look even more outstanding. Thanks Les.
Actually,I love no.3 ,It tell stories of any fool who did not listen to the Pellican .Keep up good work.

Thanks for your comment Anake,
I said to my self that I was so lucky got this kind of pciture, I didn't do any compensation neither any tricks. My metering was just Partial. For the second pic for example, shutter speed was 1/4000 and aperture was F/5.

Greg, I love #2 as well. Very sharp, and the details are excellent! Good job on the exposure on such a tough subject (white pelican, with bright sun).
I wish I have a tele-zoom, Greg. Time to save-up for a 70-200 VR. .
