im not 100% sure, i got it before apple started selling their unlocked version, so this is probably a Verizon version which is unlocked to start with.

yeah verizon are usually unlocked out of the box for the iPhone 5. i was hoping for it to be the GSM factory unlocked. thanks anyways.
