I am a member of Canons (free) CPS Silver Membership and just received this in the mail as a “Thank you” for being a loyal member.

It is made by one of my favorite photo bag company Think Tank, and it holds 8 CF Cards plus 3 SD Cards.

Membership has its benefits, of course you have to have a certain amount of Canon gear owned to qualify. The membership did help with expediting a lens repair once, which was one year out of warranty, and at no cost to me.

Thanks Canon!

Awesome...I'm Platinum - been paying $500/year for several years - and I just got the same thing.

I'm glad that they do reward all members, just wish that when you pay more, you actually get more.

Granted, I didn't sign up for freebees and trinkets, but rather for the discount on repairs (many per year). But even those prices have gone up... with less and less perks.

I bet we don't get one in the UK

Although I already have a thinktank one so I don't know why I'd want it. Great product!

Since you paid for the membership, I would hardly call it free.

Interesting I have been a gold member for a number of years and have not received anything and did not get anything when I renewed last year, which was a first. Although the discount on repairs and the two free clean and checks are worth it to me.

When I first joined some years ago I got a small CPS pin from them. So this is the only other item I've received from them.

I did have a 16-35 f2.8 lens that had some softness issues that creeped in after some time. It was totally out of warranty. They fixed it, no questions asked, and expedited it both ways to me (In and out in 9 days). All that with my free memebership.

I got one, too. Gold member here. Nice to get something not expected and from one of my favorite companies. :-)

Can any of you post a link to the points system values? The links on Canon's site aren't working for me.

It is better than the useless calendar book for sure. I have yet received mine if they hand it out to all members.

Ok I just got mine, it is the yearly New Year's gift, a lot better than the old paper based calendar they used to send. Love it great swag.

Is my color off, your color off, or is that thing trimmed in hot pink?

If I manage to snag one, it'll go to my daughter

I mean, that's like burn-your-retina hot pink.

Maybe to deter theft? How many man-purse thefts does one read about these days?
