I bought this camera back in August for a vacation trip. In total I believe it wasn't used for more than 3 hours tops.Since I took plenty of batteries these have not seen more than 1 charge, maybe one or two of them got charged a second time. So they are in like new shape.
Included: Diving Case ($50 cost) (you need this if you want perfectly clear video underwater, the one that comes with the camera is waterproof, however due to the curved lens the video underwater takes a huge hit in clarity, look at youtube videos) 5 Batteries, wall charger, Tripod mount (bought separately,) several sticky mounts to attach to helmet or other flat surfaces, Car Mount, outdoor back door and floaty back door.
Just to clear confusion, the Diving Case and Underwater Case are two different cases. The "underwater" case is the one the camera comes with which is not suitable for actual underwater recording, but just to protect the camera from water (curved lens case). If you want perfectly sharp image underwater, you need the Diving Case, the one with the flat lens, the curved lens one will give you a blurry picture.
This package brings both, the standard water proof + the diving case, this is sold separately, it does not come with the camera package and it costs $50. The camera package alone retails for $299.00 (Motorsport edition), On top I'm adding 4 additional batteries + Charger ($40).
