I have two of these lenses for sale, both incredibly clean and recalibrated and adjusted by Canon under two years ago.
----------------------------------------------------------
#1 For sale is my UU (2006) Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8L mk1 lens. $1125.
This Lens was fully recalibrated, adjusted and cleaned by Canon in 2011 just under two years ago but has had very little use. It is very sharp and produces excellent images wide open on my 7D.
Lens is incredibly clean, not used enough to hold on to.
Includes: Front and Rear lens caps with Lens.
Payment: Paypal gift or add 3% or regular paypal, or cash for Chicago area in-person pickup.
I post on the Sport Corner here a bunch for those that don't know me.
PLEASE let me know if you have questions.

Is that a crack in pic 5 around the filter ring or am I just crazy? Also, pic 4 something looks wonky where the lens/camera mount line up dot is....might just be an illusion.

Picture 5 (intentional) shows the one blemish on the lens- a scratch in the metal finish, so fine that you can't even feel with your finger nail. The light from the flash for the photo caught it just right.
Picture 4 is accurate and the same on both lenses. It looks funny, but the metal doesn't raise to the same height all the way around, but rather there are two symmetric bulges that are part of the original design. (again the lighting makes it look weird but trust me it is as-designed).
Thanks for the response Guy...I am trying to assemble the funds for a 24-70L ...
Just picked up a 1D3 from here a couple weeks ago so the wifey has me on lock down for a bit....
