On the morning at Zabriskie Point, there was something truly special: a vivid rainbow blazing away in a thunderstorm across the valley!

I really like your image, and the rainbow is a wonderful touch.
I've been to Death Valley a couple dozen times in winter and never have seen a rainbow.

Hello Jeffrey,
I appreciate it very much for your pondering with my photo to see what kind of cropping will make the photo better.
I see that you emphasized the rainbow by clipping areas which I think they are important to be there though.
I like my composition much better with the vastness of Death Valley still intact, with the rainbow within.
Perhaps my composition tells the story better..
