Lens Model: EOS 300mm F/2.8L IS. I bought this lens a few years ago from a guy who had used it heavily for sports and wasn't too careful about keeping it from getting paint rubs---but the glass is without fault. I anticipated using it (mainly for Wildlife) more than I have, usually opting for my 500L. It's sharp even with my 1.4x and 2x Kenko MC4 converters. I can send pics taken with the converters.

I have a Kinesis L511 long lens case available for $99 extra. I like using it for either my 500L or my 300 2.8L IS which can be mounted with camera, lens (also with extender) and hood and left in the case, ready to shoot.
How is this still here? If I had the money, I'd buy it as a back up to my existing 300 f2.8IS which looks a lot like yours! No shame in owning a well-worn lens that can shoot like this one!
