Thank You. From everything I have been able to learn about that specific Lanc my (late) father would have served as crew on it in peace time, BUT he trained to be a tail gunner on them. Fortunately the war ended just before he was about to be sent overseas to do that job.

The flag always flies in remembrance, in honor of those that served continue to serve!
No photos to post, but I wanted to give thanks to Olive Garden Restaurants for honoring veterans today. My nephew (Iraqi Freedom era), my niece's husband (current reservist), and I (Late Cold War era) all got free meals today.
My mother, sister, and niece paid for theirs, so the place didn't go broke.
