Item updated in the last 24 hours Item price reduced in the last 24 hours   Canon 5D Mark II, 5D2

Sold

Price: $1,000.00
Payment method: PayPal
Item condition: 7 Shows considerable amount of use - More than average wear

I bought this used on FM and it has some mild cosmetic issues. Shutter count is 246.2k, so well-used. The battery door has been replaced and the CF door cover is sometimes difficult to open. Otherwise, everything functions perfectly. I'm on the fence about selling, so I thought I'd see if anyone was interested first. Comes with box, manual, CD, etc. Also including cheap but useful AC adapter so you can plug it into the wall for power. Actually, I have several things I'll include (remotes and other stuff, kind of specific to dDSLR's). Need to do some inventory, and for fun it will be a surprise!

Selling because, I'm traveling a lot these days and would like something more portable (EOS-M or G1x). Otherwise, I would keep it!

Will get to pics tomorrow. How do I get a shutter count on a 5D2? Also, OSX only.

Cheers!

Hmmm...how much does a shutter replacement cost, should it go? Anyone?

Not sure. I've never ever had to replace a shutter on a Canon camera. Probably just jinxed myself...

IIRC, a shutter replacement done by Canon or a repair store is around $250. The shutter part itself is about $150 so if you (or someone you know) is comfortable disassembling and reassembling electronics, it isn't an overly expensive fix.
