p.1 #1 · Determining the shutter count on the 1DX

I had heard with the 1DX that you can actually see the shutter count on the back of the camera, but for the life of me, I can't find where that information is...

Anyone figured it out??

Check page 385 of the manual.

system status display, it is called methinks.

If the camera is able to display the count in thousands, then why not display the exact actual count? It takes less code.

This makes total sense, I didn't know it displayed the count in thousands and was wondering why the battery count was different than the camera count.
