Before I trash this one, curious if others can extract a good image.

One part I have struggled with was the crop. It's interesting to see how each of you has handled this. I had hoped I could somehow split the image (and break that rule of thirds), offer a soft, smooth half and a colorful, detailed half.
The tendency in still shots is to try to cram as much context as possible into every photo to tell the story, hence the temptation to include the boat on the right. But I think its a very strong image with a lot of interesting colors and details to explore that works better by simply isolating the the traps from the other distractions, including just the dock in the background for context and balance but blurring it's eye catching detail.
