Hehe... Yeah, his is bigger if he's holding that many. I've been through almost 400 now but I only currently hold between 250 and 300. I need to recount again soon.
EDIT:
Just counted 199 clean operable lenses, 17 in need of cleaning, 6 junk lenses, and about 80 microscope objectives. Current number of camera bodies = 14 (4 digital, 10 film).
By the end of 2012 I hope to be down to about 10 or 15 lenses, 2 or 3 microscope objectives, half as many camera bodies, and a few toys - like bellows, macro rails, fx filters, and so on.

Note the dedicated, external hood. This is an unusual accessory when the lens already has a built-in hood. I've owned lenses that have an "extension hood", which attaches to the front of the built-in hood, but this is different - it's either/or.
Even more unusual is the fact that the external hood screws onto the lens front filter threads when facing forward in "shooting" position, and also when mounted backwards, for storage.
Is it just the angle making it look this way, or is that lens really short for a 300, Jim?

Was given a Bausch & Lomb 70-220/3.5 Macro-focusing zoom today in MD mount. Wonder how this monster will do on the NEX-7.
Took it mainly because if it performs well I'll have a 16-300mm system for tripod shooting on the NEX with a constant 72mm filter size (in concert with my DT 16-50/2.8 SSM and a Nikkor 300/4.5)

just bought a contax G 90mm for my nex7.
220 euro should be ok.
it's black.
Congrats. It is a very reasonable price for the black 90/2.8 G version.
Today I bought 45/2 G Planar (and G1 body with it) so the quattro 28/2.8-35/2-45/2-90/2.8 will soon be in place.Kipon adapter also arrived yesterday and it's performance is as described by many FMs so no surprize - thanks!
I'm gonna test 35-70/3.5-5.6G next Saturday.Feedback from many say that with NEX7 at 35mm and 50mm there are significant colour shift.Let's see how it goes.
