Thanks, I have most of it apart, The front 2 elements are good, but I'm stuck at the 3rd group/4th element from the front, it looks like the later version is similar, that the front elements are in a cell, and the cell must come out to access the keeper for the cell's rear element(3rd), only the slots are impossible to reach because the lip of the hood blocks access, I'd need to modify my spanner(the replaceable tips). http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.en/index.php/90mm_f/2_Summicron-R

So, bought a Leica R 90/2 from 1972 for $40, and the R 35/2 from 1973 for $20
Sadly they are not mint, Sadly they have major water damage, the aperture mechanisms are both stuck, blades may be rusted together, the focus ring on the 35 is stuck.
I'm not expecting them to survive, but thought they might be interesting to try and save.
Wish me luck.
I was thinking about taking those lenses...
There's still one left, LEITZ TELYT-R 250mm F4 (As Is-Water Damage) $50.00 Cdn

lol
They really are in bad shape, worst case for the 90 would be no aperture control, wide open only... (Edit: the blades are rusted through).
The 35/2, is in worse condition, but I haven't really dug into it much yet.

I had to sacrifice the built in hood, just too much corrosion, some of the grub screws had to be drilled out, I also had to remove the aperture mechanism because most all the blades were broken, I think I'll have to reinstall it because I'm just short of infinity, and as I focus from MFD towards infinity the IQ seems to drop, so I'm thinking the aperture section must space the front cell from the rear element by some small amount, I will open it up again to do a final cleaning anyways.
I have the series 7 filter holder if anyone is interested in it, free to good home, just pay shipping.

Yesterday I brought home 37 lenses.Mostly Minolta MD/AF,Nikon,Canon EF/FD,old Takumars,AF Sigmas,Contax/Yashica ect.
For now I decided to keep a few mint, good lenses for both A7 series cameras and NEXes,namely
Nikkor 50/1.8 AF
Nikkor 28-105/3.5-4.5 AFD
Minolta MD 75-200/4.5
Helios 44 Mk6,m42
MC Rokkor PF 50/1.7 (second copy)
Sonnar CZJ 135/3.5 electric,m42 (third copy,but I couldn't resist)
Sigma 28-70/2.8 EX Aspherical in Nikon AFD mount
Sigma 28/1.8 Aspherical in Nikon AF Mount
Sigma 24-70/2.8 EX Aspherical in Canon EF mount
Canon EF USM 24-85/3.5-4.5
Canon EF USM 28-105/3.5-4.5
Canon EF-S 17-85/3.5-4.5 IS USM
Tamron 11-18/4.5-5.6 in Canon mount
Tessar 50/2.8 Zebra in Exa mount
I considered keeping famous Asahi Auto Takumar 85/1.8 m42,but it was too battered for my taste.

Found this beauty on Evil Bay for $15. Focus ring is SMOOTH. Not bad for an off brand lens. Works great with the Metabones FD to Fuji. Basically a 28mm 1.9. Sharp in the center and soft in the corner wide open. Once you stop it down it gets really sharp. Good colors and contrast.

The Sigma Super Wide II is an awesome little lens. I bought one in FD mount but had a slight haze. Took it apart and don't know how to put it back together. I think this little five star I made is made by Sigma or someone else, because it's SHARP and crazy good for use on the X-T2. Same design and 1:5 macro capable.

Thanks a lot for your experience with the Super Wide.
I almost ordered a Pentax K or M 24 f2.8, however one PK Forum owner review pointed me to the better IQ of the Sigma and I found one cheaper than either Pentax lens - a 'win-win' situation!

I've been trying to make frankenlensed enlarging lenses on a Kipon tilt/shift M42 to e-mount adapter work as a field macro solution with movements, but after finally killing all of the reflections in the adapter, I've completely lost patience with it. The tilt function is just too clumsy and imprecise to be of any real use.
So enter the Minolta Auto-Bellows III with an M42 to SR adapter and a replacement mount for e. it's got a great amount of extension with just the right amount of movement on the front standard, and it's nicely compact and more rugged than my other bellows. Not a lens, I know, but it should be a great companion to the lenses I already have.

Found a BNIB Leica Summicron-R 2/35 [11339] for a steal (half the price it used to list for new back when it was in production)... couldn't say no. I think I'll pick up an Apo-Extender-R 2x, as it's the same deal...
