Bought a copy of the CV 40mm f/1.4. I've been considering this lens for years, finally took the plunge. I don't have it yet, but I look forward to finally playing with it! Planning to get some stuff sold off in anticipation of the next cheaper Loxia 35mm that shows up on the B&S forum.

Schneider-Kreuznach 360mm f5.5 m42. ヅ Found it on an auction site by chance. Can't tell much about it yeat but that the iris seem to have 18 blades or something...

Just got this CPC 135mm 2.8 today for $15. Glass looks great but aperture ring doesn't open and close the blades. I bought it anyway hoping it may need adjusting like the FD lenses. I'm open to ideas if anyone knows what may be causing the problem with this one.

I checked my old Rodenstock 90mm f6.8 Grandagon N MC on my A7r with my Cambo Actus. The lens easily stands up to the 36MP sensor. I will check my Rodenstock 75mm f6.8 Grandagon N MC probably tomorrow. But, if I can carry the weight and size one or both of these lenses are worth carrying into the field.
I heard from the seller of the Rodenstock APO-Sironar Digital 55mm f/4.5. Their tech checked out the lens and is supposed to be pristine. It is on its way to me and I may have it as early as Saturday.

I picked up a very inexpensive copy of the Zeiss Distagon 18mm f3.5 in the ZE mount. The condition was not as pristine as I would have liked, but a very pleasingly sharp and contrasty lens.

Found a Sigma (Fujica mount) lens today but didn't realize the adapters to eos were on the high side. Cheapest on eBay and Amazon appear to be in the $35+ range, anyone know a cheaper source?

Not a purchase, but a score! A rep that I work with, who knows I'm a photographer, had been given this gem, and he thought I might get some use out of it, so he just gave it to me. It's in fantastic condition and everything works mechanically. Mirror has some crud on it, but the finder is clear. I need to get a battery for the metering finder, so hopefully that works, but even if it doesn't, the aperture mechanism works, the shutter speeds look to be pretty accurate and the film advance and timer work beautifully.

I'm sure you will put that stellar lens to great use Bob, having seen your work over the years. I predict you will also want to buy a Summicron-R 50 in due course!

Grabbed a Kiron zoom with Nikon mount that is sharp as tack and probably should have bought the Nikon camera and 50mm for $45 more. Got a no name M42 mount 135mm ($5) and an old Pentax body and 45mm for ($10). It's cool how all of these lenses all have a unique vibe to the images they produce.

Hi Chris,
Is that a medium format Pentax body ? Pentax didn't make a "FF" 45mm lens, although Ricoh did make a 45mm f/2.8 for Pentax-K. In decent condition, the Ricoh 45/2.8 is worth over $100 in today's market.
