Found one of these for a ridiculously low price on Craigslist, had sat there for a whole 12 days unsold. Probably my best deal yet!
It's the Minolta Rokkor 250mm f5.6 mirror lens. Super small and great telephoto reach, a perfect match for mirrorless

My most recent alt lens acquisition is the CV 35/1.7 Ultron Aspherical for use on an A7ii. At first, I was considering selling it, because of vignetting and color shifts on the Sony, but since I learned how to correct these defects with CornerFix, I am definitely keeping it. It is a stunner.

I can hardly resist if I see mint and low priced alt lenses and can test them before purchase...
- SMC Pentax M 40/2.8 pancake - my first copy
- Canon FD SSC 300/5.6 - first copy, with better than expected IQ
- Minolta "plain" MD 28/2.8 - I have many 28/2.8 Minolta MC/MD W.Rokkors,but that MD is first
- Revuenon MC/Cosina 135/2.8 with PK mount - solid, compact lens with very good/excellent IQ,like the Revuenon MC 50/1.4 that I have purchased before. On par with Pentax M equivalents.
- MD Macro Rokkor 100/4.0+1:1 Tube - 3rd Macro 100/4.0 lens from Minolta,but for 90 Euro in mint conditions?-I couldn't pass
- MD Rokkor 50/1.7,49mm - similar story
-Canon nFD 28/2.8,boxed with boxed hood - as above
I have the 24/2.8 which was better than I expected from all the negativity from the Leica users seem to spout, the 28 which I have is good, even if it's not the better second version, I haven't got the 35 or 50 yet, I do have the 60 which is great, and I have ignored the 90 because I have the M 90AA, bought and sold the 135/2.8, and love my 180/3.4 APO, and I do like the 35-70/3.4 my only complaint is the MFD is a bit far.

eBay global shipping program....
"Global" describes it quite well, the items go on a global trip!
Just bought the Topcor 9cm that I posted at the top of the previous page.
It was located in Bozeman Montana(just across the border to Alberta), just a short trip right? Guess again, it's first stop: Billings Montana, then on to Cincinnati Ohio, then to Elanger Kentucky, then to Mississauga Ontario, then Winnipeg Manitoba, and it's finally in Calgary..... Wow, talk about efficiency.

I bought some "junk" off of a local auction site..
m42
Fujinon EBC 28mm f/3.5
Fujinon EBC 55mm f/1.8
Westanar 50mm f/2.8 (gorgeous looking Tessar, can't wait to test it on my DSLR)
Tokina
Tokina 70-220mm f/3.5 macro (new!)
Those came with cameras attached, allegedly all working fine
A Konica Autoreflex T3 (mine is lacking seals, can't have enough of these to defend yourself, can you?)
Edixa Reflex (not sure what model, can't tell from the cellphone pictures he took)
and a Fujica ST901 (I really hope this works, would love to bring that one along to the US for my vacation)
The Fuji set also has a 2x teleconverter, a Yashica CS202 auto flash unit, some extension tubes and a hood for the 28mm Fujinon.
Got all this for the amount somebody paid me for my 105/4 Nikkor Ai Macro with sticky focus ring.
p.254 #10 · What is your most recent (alt) lens purchase?
I went looking for a Canon LTM 35/2 and stumbled upon a 35/1.5 for the best price I've seen in a while. Hopefully it's as minty as it looks in the photos.

I've just received my third (I was buying every sample in Europe that turned up at a price of EUR 300 or below, I've sent back the second one) sample of the Contax Vario-Sonnar 35-70mm f3.4 and this one is just superb. No play mechanically, it is basically like new, better than the one I use, which gives me really good results though. I will keep using my beaten sample (which I Leitaxed to Canon EOS) but I know I will have the perfect backup once it fails. IMHO this is one of the most undervalued lenses ever, because it gives me better results (mid-field resolution and especially colour) at 35mm f8 and beyond than any of my other fixed focal 35mm lenses, including Minolta MC 35mm f1.8 HH (which I love), Minolta MD 35mm f2.8, Pentax K 35mm f3.5, Pentax-M 35mm f2.8, Rollei Carl Zeiss Distagon 35mm f2.8 QBM1, Canon FD 35mm f2 SSC concave and Canon FD 35mm f2.8 (which has superb resolution but the colours suck IMHO).

Trying out B&W film for the first time. Since it's not C-41, DIY seemed like a no brainer. Haven't done a roll yet, but looking forward to my first attempts at developing film! Have a 5-pack of Tri-X in 120 on the way for my Yashica-Mat.
