Thanks.
Something EVIL... Mwuhahaha!
I was looking at the NX100 but the jello effect was quite strong and I have decided to wait and see what comes out this summer, Nex 5 is close, but everything I've read tells me I'd be frustrated with the ergonomics/buried menu options,
GF1/2 is tempting but the crop factor is holding me back, I was never happy with my 40D's1.6x crop factor,
so no reason to believe they will be any different,
so until there are some 16-20mm equivalent primes in their native mount, I don't think I'll be too excited about them.

What is a shift lens good for BTW... I understand tilt but shift only lenses... I've passed a few up just cuz I dunno what they're good for. Anyone?
Generally for shooting architecture, interiors, where the camera is set horizontally with a spirt level to keep walls square/parallel. This usually means that the camera will not be able to be pointed up or down as required for the required composition so shift is applied to move/compose the image.

Perspective control. Fixing things like converging verticals.
You can also do panorama stitching with them without any complicated stitching. With a 35mm shift lens you can get a view about as wide as a 20mm lens if you just take three shots (centre and two with max. shift in both directions) and paste them together.
There's a newer version that is reported to be better, but I got the old one for a very good price and honestly, I won't need anything better. This is what I got from the above shooting...

Oh WOW, and I threw an offer at an OM 50 f/1.2 and it was accepted!
After looking at the OM images thread, I really wanted one, so there I go!! I am going to be eating catfood for the next month, but it will be worth it, right?
I still haven't shot with it :| been so busy shooting from dawn til dusk for work
The view on the ground glass screen in that pentax is tremendously bright! So much brighter than my 75/4.5 (roughly same FOV right? ~20mm on 35mm) on the groundglass in my 4x5. I will have to get a wide angle fresnel!

Kodak SLR/C & Leica 90/2.8 Elmarit ... both en route. This will be my first Leica glass ... just wondering if I'm about to embark on a "slippery (& expensive) slope"
