Sweet! Was looking into these lenses for myself too!
The lens is nice and conpact on the FM3A. Took the combo out to a pumpkin festival over the weekend. Should have a roll of Fuji 400ProH developed in the next few days. Excited to see how everything came out!

Found a Rodenstock Retina-Heligon 50/1.9 worth bidding for on eBay. The lens looks pristine- none of the usual signs of separation in the rear group, coating looks to be intact, no overt signs of use/abuse on the body. Even the (untested) Reflex S included as a rear cap looks great, so I'm guessing this was someone's bag queen before it got tucked away in storage and forgotten for fifty or sixty years. Also picked up a DKL to M42 adapter so I can frankenlens a closer focusing solution in case the .9M MFD is a bit too limiting.

I bought this Mamiya 645 50/4 shift lens with a rare converted to Hasselblad mount.
I will use this lens with an adapter on the Pentax 645Z.

Nice find Michiel! Are there any more from the same supplier? I would also love one.
Sometimes these converted ones are for sale on Ebay mostly from professional sellars in Germany, but they are quiet rare. You can have them converted by Zoerk, I believe but then you have to buy the lens first and pay the price for conversion more then €1200,. To expensive. 3 times the price I paid for it.
Best thing to do is check Ebay regulary.

Thanks a lot Michiel. I browsed the Zoerk site earlier today however didn't see the conversion there - much too pricey for me in any case.
For TS work I enjoy using my Canon FD 35/2.8 on the A7R, although to have a similar opportunity with the 645 would be great.

This has been a painful week for my bank account. I finally found something of a unicorn in that I found a good example (near mint complete with box) of the second version of the Leica R 180/2.8 apo. It was also the only copy of the lens I had seen despite looking at every site I could find and networking as well. Apparently only 400 of the "11357" Leica 180 were made. I was glad to find one!

Wow that is quiet impressive!
BTW How do you like the lens? Of course it is an advantage, medium format on a 35mm, sweet spot etc...
Personally I didn't shoot with it yet but heard good things about it.
A better option, lensqualitywise then the Superrotater what is about the only other option for shift on the Pentax 645.

I sold it a long time ago. I bought it to see if I would use "shift on shift". Turns out, I didn't.
It's a very nice lens. Plenty sharp. I suppose it would be nice to use with the Mirex when you want shift in a different direction than the Mirex offers. That's never come up, but I've never considered it before. Darn! I should have kept it.
(The Mirex gives shift and tilt about the same axis. For example, if it's set up to give tilt "nose down", then it shifts left and right on the horizontal axis. Both motions are on/about the same horizontal axis. This lets you have a left-right shift-pano with constant tilt (useful for some landscape photos), but does not let you shift left-right with tilt about a vertical axis.)
Using the normal M645 lenses with Mirex on my Canon DSLR gives me the movements that I need for most situations. The M645 C 55/2.8N is a lot smaller than the C 50/4 Shift, and at least as good optically. As long as the Mirex gives enough movement (which it usually does for me), then I prefer to use the 55/2.8N. In fact, that 's why I sold the 50/4 Shift.
I also have a M645 Auto Bellows N with substantial front standard movenments, and I can add the Mirex to the back to have front and back standard movements.

Thank you John, that's very likely, given my astigmatism! The GXR has a nice level display (like the P645D ) however as I only started shooting it today I didn't use that every time! I will correct the image and refresh...

Still have the Ricoh GXR. A lovely camera. The Zeiss Biogon 25 was my favourite lens on the M module! I just put it up for sale on Ebay because sadly I hardly use it anymore.

I have been planning to get a camera modified for IR (or even better, full-spectrum) for some time, even buying a new Sony A6000 before selling it again. I saw this IR-modified A12 Leica module and I knew I would get good results using LM lenses!
I had to buy the GXR separately but got a great deal through Amazon (unit looks like a new return) I hope I can survive without buying the EVF since that remains quite expensive and not particularly good. I had not intended to buy a visual-spectrum module for it but I saw the 28 f2.5 for about $150 in a recent KEH sale.
I can now sell a Sigma DP2S that was my small point-and-shoot for when I didn't want to risk a better camera (as in off-road motorcycling rides).
Michiel - if you get your A7R modified by Kolari Vision I think that the ZM25 becomes useable. The dedicated thread on thin sensor-glass for the A7(R) probably discusses.
