p.209 #6 · What is your most recent (alt) lens purchase?
I've made two alt lens purchases since last posting here:
1. Olympus OM 24mm f/2.8 - my Sony 16mm needed replacing when I upgraded to the A7. First thoughts: this will do just fine.
2. Contax C/Y Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 AEJ - picked this up from someone on Craigslist. I'm still deliberating on this one - it's kind of a dreamy mess wide open, but it has its charms. Not sure it's worth keeping when I have the C/Y Zeiss 50/1.7 and Contax G 45/2, but I'm going to give it a little time before I decide if I keep anything other than the G45 out of this group.

Zeiss ZA 55/1.8 and a Nikkor 180/2.8 ED AiS. As much as I enjoy shooting adapted glass on my A7R, it's nice to have an AF lens for family shots, where the subjects rarely keep still long enough for me to focus properly.

My stolen gear replacement is nearing completion. Picked up nearly new Nikkor 50/1.2, solid Contax 35-70, and FD 300/4L. I have a line on the FD 35 TS if he likes my wine If not, still looking for a great copy like the one I purchased from freaklikeme.
Purchased a Makro-Planar 100 ZE as part of the settlement and after strapping it on to the A7 it is clear I'm not parting with this one!

Well, earlier lines on certain lenses didn't pan out, but I did get a Schneider 60/3.5 Curtain for my Hy6, as well as the Maxwell plain matte focusing screen, and a 645 film back. Happy happy. Now to source the 90 Macro...

Too much $$$ being spent! I've decided I can't part with my Contax 35, so am going get a cheaper canon 50 1.2 LTM as my only lens for the m6 until I can save up again. If the ZM35 proves to be too much temptation I might be swayed to swap the Contax later.

Ha ha, that was my theory also when I dabbled my toe with an M8 2 years ago.
I now own an M9, M6, M3 and several older Leica lenses as well as others including the ZM25 - and that's only the Leica M stuff.
