Ah yes, I recall now, I sold it on eBay to a girl. I wonder what work she did with it.
I miss that Contax 645 AF and the 100 Makro. I still have the 35mm. I can't get myself to sell it. I still have some backs and accessories. Great system, only the dark matte screen let it down a bit. I always wanted to get a Maxwell-made screen, but at some point I thought that if I went to all the trouble of shooting, developing and scanning 120 film, then why not go to 6x6 and 6x7 and get so much more area...

My Minolta XD11 arrived. It was supposedly from storage so hadn't been used. Was absolutely filthy, no lens cap and unfortunately had batteries still installed which had corroded. Tried some fresh batteries but it wouldn't fire...
Spent the last hour cleaning it it all up inside and out, tightened all the screws as well as the film speed dial which was very loose. Cleaned the viewfinder and focusing screen, scratched off the corroded lumps from the battery compartment cap and now I have an near mint, working XD11, not to mention a very cheap one. Will have to get some photos of it before I replace the light seals and give it a test roll. Looks beautiful and makes my X700 feel like a plastic mess. That one will be up on ebay asap, looking forward to shooting with the XD11, its a great all metal camera. Just a shame the seller didn't know what he was selling, and could have at least taken the strap off before shipping it so that the it didn't leave a few fresh scratches on one side...

Not really alt but just got myself the new "Zeiss" Sony FE 55 1.8, first autofocus lens for ages I've bought myself. Compact little beast, love it already.

Greggf heavily influenced my purchase of the ELPRO close up lens. Thank you Greggf as well as thanks to Kokusai for identifying the correct version to get (the ELPRO 3)!
Also picked up the Voigtlander VME Close Up Lens Adapter for M to NEX/E mount. Going to tinker around with both the ELPRO and the VME this weekend.

Well, sort of, but probably not in the sense you're referring to. It has a bigger brother, the Nikkor-Q 200 mm f/4, which also cost me 30$ in equal condition (close to mint, very well taken care of). Who am I to separate two siblings, who have lived together for almost 50 years? Both sold by a woman in her sixties, they were her father's old gear. They have probably been stowed away for decades until she put them up for sale.

After a year spent with Mamiya RZ67 ULD 50mm, I ordered RZ67 APO 500mm.RZ67 APO and ULD lenses are offered at very pleased prices, I think this is a big chance for someone who knows.

Zeiss Luminar 63mm f/4.5 Now I need to find out how to adapt it to my Contax Bellows and the bellows to my D800 or A7, without breaking the bank. The adapters I have seen so far are in the 150 Euro ballpark!

I assume you mean 85/1.8, in which case I congratulate you on a great lens. Very sharp from f/2.8 and very good build quality.

Is the Luminar an RMS thread? If so then RMS > M39/M42 etc adapters are cheap and readily available, as are Contax or Nikon M39/M42 adapters for the bellows.
Why is it going to cost 150 Euro ? I've had (several) adapters custom made for much less.
