Leica Summarit-M f2.5/50mm for use on my EOS M as a small&short tele complement to the RX1. Guess I will have to check out Magic Lantern for the EOS M to improve manual focus handling.

I've been researching Fuji's lenses since I've never shot with any of them (except for playing with an X100 and X-E1 in a camera shop) so I decided to pick up an EBC 35/2.8 in M42 to try out on the a99 and an EBC X 55/1.6 for the NEXs.

Was trying out the M 50 Lux Asph & 90 APO Asph today, I think I want them bad... Help!
I think all my Canon gear is going up for consignment, that should cover the cost.

I recently got a Tamron 28/2.5 Adaptall to use on my 5D and had to wait 2 weeks for the adapter to arrive pfft!
Also waiting for an Olympus-Canon adapter for a fungus-infected Vivitar Kiron 28/2 which I dismantled and cleaned (too bad the coating on a small area almost smack center on the rear element had been eaten away). It's another week of waiting for the adapter :/

I have a Canon FD 85/1.8 coming in either Friday or Monday. Basically, I'm hoping it'll replace my Contax G 90/2.8 Sonnar on my Fuji. The Sonnar's a great lens, but I'm looking for something faster that also isn't much larger, and the FD fits the bill. Hopefully the optics are up to snuff.

Been there done that. Walked in with a bag full of Nikon. Walked out with one Leica lens (180/2.0).

Actually, the 180/2 was (about) my 5th Leica lens so I was already kitted up with several bodies. My 'first', and you always remember your 'first', was the R 80 that I still have and it did take a while before I found a decent body, back in the days before Evilbay and the Internet. Of course now you can buy almost anything and have it on your doorstep in a few days/weeks.

You won't be the first and the last.I have left one Canon FF and one Canon APS-C body only to be able to use my ZE Zeiss lenses. All EF lenses are gone/replaced by Zeiss Z.

Both seem to be decent lenses.I dont' have them yet,but my experience so far with m42 28/3.5,55/1.8 and 135/3.5 are very positive.

Got my Tamron Adaptall2 300 2.8 model 60b. It is a heavy beast but still usable hand held, the IBIS on the E-PL5 works good. First shots on tripod. Still getting used to this thing.

How's the build quality overall on your Fujis? I couldn't find anything locally so I've never even held them. Fortunately they were cheap enough that it didn't matter but since the 35 is coming from Canada and the 55 from GB, I won't get to handle either of another week or so.

Thanks Jman,
This is really the most affordable way ( $649 from KEH) for me to get into a lens like this. Certainly can't afford the thousands that canons and Nikons go for. Although auto focus would be nice. Focusing this beast in a timely manner is going to take a lot of practice.
