Another MC W Rokkor HH 35/1.8 and MC Tele Rokkor PF 135/2.8 (both with rubber grip).
Now spare favourite mirrorless kit for holidays in not-so-sunny countries is completed i.e. MC Rokkors 24/2.8 SI,35/1.8HH,50/1.4PG,85/1.7PG and 135/2.8PF

Nice. I don't really have a need for a 27mm f/2.8, but with the X-M1 in my hands now, I'm dying to have a super tiny lens to go along with it. I guess to make me not go spend even more money, I should just go pick up my GX1 with 14/2.5 and reassure myself that I already have a super tiny combo...but having one for Fuji would be good too....I need to resist.

The MC W Rokkor HH 35/1.8 is a really nice lens...

Yes.It is the lens with character, better again than it's later MD/MC 35/28 successors.
I woke up this morning and see that my best offer for Rokkor MC SI 28/2.5 was accepted,so now I got two.
Congrats on getting a nice clone to your lens, although I don't see the point, unless you use it everyday in which case it does make sense to have a backup.

have you compared it to the later 49mm filter thread version?
Yes.I have both MD Rokkors - 35/2.8 - 55mm and 49mm.Optically they are identical with good/very good IQ.Nice Minolta colours, rather smooth bokeh, pretty even sharpness across the frame, but somehow boring.MC Rokkor HH 35/1.8 has an edge here - it is visibly crisper overall

Thank you.I make backups for lenses I use most often and/or regard special/like very much.Keeping in mind that their availability is decreasing, prices rising and some may get damaged overtime,it makes me feel safer. And it's fun.
