I just upgraded my A6300 to the A6500 which I use mostly for wildlife. So, I strapped the Sony A Mount 70-400 G2 with the LE-EA3 onto the A6500 and set it up for tracking. Of course, it's a crappy grey day but I love it so much more with IBIS in body. Some encouraging results considering the conditions.
It was great. Very responsive and super sharp. I used the face recognition to focus and had no issues. rji2goleez wrote:
How do you like the Canon 85/1.8 on the A6500
I would like to ask you guys for suggestion ang opinions regarding the 28-70 kit for a7.
I am planning to buy the sel 28-70 lens for my sony a6000. I wanted to have a zoom lens that could match the actual lenght of the 100mm or above lenses. As i was searching i found out that the 28-70 full frame could give me a 42-105 field of view when i mount it on the aps c sensor of my a6000. So i am asking your opinion if i am on the right track to buy sel 28-70 to achieve my need of a zoom that could match the 100mm lenses. Coz as of now i have the kit lens 16-50, sigma 30 f1.4 and the samyang 12 f2. So i think the missing on my gear is a zoom to have more than 100mm lenght.
I am an amateur photographer and on a tight budget. I was about to go on sel 55-210 but i found out on the reviews of others that it is not sharp.
