I use the nex 6 all the time - especially for hiking/backpacking even though I also have an A7. The 6 is a great camera for straightforward images IMO -just not as "sexy" as Sony's latest offerings.
You (ebookman) like the others on this thread seem to be making excellent use of these models.
Still happily using the 5n, having the better controls and viewfinder of the 6 would be nice, but that comes at the cost of bigger size and no touchscreen (which is nice for MF and static scenes).
NEX 5n, ISO 400, Contax G 28/2.8 at f/5.6 if I remember correctly.
And a crop, from the very corner no less. This lens has a reputation for iffy corner performance, which is only true for far distance and wider apertures. It is absolutely fine at infinity stopped down to f/8, and the closer you get to MFD, the less you have to stop down.
