Hey Mike, thanks! Just a heads up. I'm heading out your way at the end of August. A few buddies and I are doing our annual 14er trip. We are hitting the Lake City area, doing Uncompaghre and several others down there.
Long time lurker, chipping in, for the sake of the forum continuity and my heart is still in 5N as well.
Still using my trusted E 24mm f1.8 ZA, processed on LR4.2

I like to look at the 14k high mountains but I could never climb one. I admire you! I do live in a beautiful place and feel very blessed.
Long time Nikon user just sold the last of me gear (Previous D810 user) and moved to the A7II however needed something for speed and the A6000 does the trick.....I owned it when it was released but never gave it a chance a few clicks from today.
1st one Loxia 35mm- other 2 kit 16-50

Thanks, John
I like the 2nd portrait. I cannot believe that it came out of A6000. I did not get kit lens and I am not satisfied with A6000 compare to NEX 5n. Your photo wants me to retry with A6000 again.
I was going through some pictures from our trip up to the mountains recently and did some post processing. I liked this one and was surprised when I was done that it was my A6000 and my Zeiss 12/2.8. I thought for sure it was one taken with the A7. And this one is not HDR.
Thanks Wilco - I did shoot that with a strobe/softbox used an Alien bees B800 with a 36" box, I say you should give it another try (: especially at the used price point I think it's a bargain.
