It's great seeing all the incredible work getting posted lately! From a couple weeks ago at Lewis and Clark Lake on the Nebraska, South Dakota border.

A couple images from the Catholic Church on the campus of Boys Town, here in Omaha, Ne. Taken with the 35mm 1.8. Great to see some new folks posting here! Grain was added in post work.

the sharpness on the bird! tempted to pick up one of these just for the autofocus. have an old canon 75-300 nonUSM canon for the a6000 but this might pushed me to get the 55-210!

The 55-210 is a great choice for birds/kids/sports. Truly shows off the autofocus strengths of the A6000. I also feel that it has excellent color rendition if you work from the RAW files. I highly recommend it.

Is it a form of caniballisim to use the lens that may have never left the camera body before now to shoot a pic of the camera? by eriet30, on Flickr

Thanks! It was a quiet moment in the house, and the light looked right.

eriet30,

I do believe you are on to something! Definitely a form of Camera Cannibalism! That could be a great thread topic.

Great pic, if you don't mind, would you share how you create your B&W, I am new to this, but can't ever get B&W like yours.
