@Jim: To be honest, it's from post-processing--I wanted to see how far I could stretch the colors out. Things just started getting smudged in the fine tree tip areas. No biggy, I'm still pretty pleased My girlfriend said I didn't take these pictures when I showed them to her!
So far I've only used in poor light as you can see. Nonetheless it focuses quickly without hunting. There's a lot of sharpness there but I really need some good light on the NEX-5N which is ancient by mirrorless standards. The lens is very light.
Actually, here's the first shot I took with the lens. The lighting is a bit better but still not at native ISO. I guess the most impressive aspect right now is the speed of autofocus. On the NEX-5N it's faster than the RX1 but not quite as fast and the Olympus OM-D EM-5. But fast enough for most applications.
A few taken today with Takumar 50 /turbo and 1.4 extender all but the cat was wide open.
I really like this combo.I guess it makes for a 70mm f1.0 combo. The sharpness and bokeh are impressive IMO.
