Jim, Those shots with the Takumar are great. Very dreamy feel to them. I loved your shot of the old lock on the previous page also. I think a lens turbo might be on my wish list for this/next year. Gives me an excuse to pick up some Takumar lenses and go have fun
Alan, very nice images. The barkeep is my favorite, despite any noise.
Out for a quick walk with our dog Dixie this morning. Frigid temps made it very hard to manual focus! I was using the Nex 7 with the Lens Turbo and Nikon 28mm 2.8. I am really having a hard time getting sharp images with this combo? I can't tell if it is my technique, the lens turbo, or the lens! I use magnified view to assure that things are sharp, then when I get home, tons of out of focus images… I did use the "Toy - Warm" filter with this. I hope everyone has a great Holiday Season!
some vaguely repetitive snaps from my walk to work yesterday. all with the 5N and the 40 cron. all are at f/2.8 except for the cityscape, which is at f/11.

Which 28/2.8? Nikon has several and they range from the lousy (28/2.8 E, 28/2.8 AF), to good (AI, AF-D) to excellent (AI-S).
Adam, of course I have the lousy one! I didn't realize there was such a disparity between them? Do you think it is probably the lens? I am pretty sure it is the "E".
